If you are under 16 years old and reading these on your own, anything you don’t understand should be checked with your mum, dad or guardian.

1. Who can Enter

The competition is open to all residents of the UK, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man aged 16 or under, except the close relatives of Forest School Day team, or anyone connected with the competition. Proof of identity and eligibility may be required, or anyone connected with the competition or the particular prize being offered. Forest School day reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who breaches these rules.

2. When is the competition

The competition will run from Thursday 27th September 2018 at 1700hrs to Monday 12th October at 13:00hrs. Entries outside of the period will not count. No other method of entry will be accepted. Forest School Day reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest at their sole discretion. There can be multiple entrants from a single forest school setting. You do not need to be currently attending a forest school programme to enter.

3. How to enter

Forest School Day will you invite you to design a logo for the 25th Anniversary of UK Forest School. You can send your entry for the “25th Anniversary Logo design” competition direct the forest school day team via the email address 123@forestschooolday.org  In the email you must include the subject head “Competition Muddy Faces Camping Set”. The entry design must be in the form of an attachment within the email, in the format of a PDF, Jpeg or PNG. The name of the entrant, Forest School Setting, and contact details must be clearly included in the email. After submitting the required contact details and attachment of your entrant, the entrant will receive one (1) entry in the competition.

You may enter as many times as you wish.

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win.

Multiple entrants can be submitted on one email if co-ordinated by an adult correspondence contact. However, the designs must be clearly marked with the design’s entrant details.

4. Winner Selection

All eligible entries received during the Submission Period will be collected, gathered at the end of the Submission Period. A winner will be chosen by a person(s) determined by the forest school day team.

The winners will be announced on or about October 12th 2018 on or around 20:00 GMT. Announcement and instructions for prize will be sent to the e-mail address supplied on the potential prize winner’s entry form. If a potential winner fails to comply with these official rules, that potential winner will be disqualified. Prizes may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligible entries are received.

Entrants must be available via the contact information they have provided. If, after reasonable attempts, a winner cannot be contacted, that entrant’s participation in the competition ends and the next runner-up entry will be contacted until a success contact is made.

5. The Prize

The Prize consists of one includes a High Seasoned 4 ltr Dutch Oven, Griddle, Skillet, Lid Lifter, Folding Steel Trivet all neatly supplied in its own wooden box supplied from Muddy Faces. All efforts will be made to get the price to the entrant as soon as possible after the announcement of the winner.  If the prize is returned as undeliverable, that potential prize winner shall forfeit the prize.

The exact prize for the competition will be made clear at the point of entry.

6. Notification

The prize is stated as above. There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be sold or transferred in any circumstances. The winner will be notified within two working days of the competition closing.

7. Winner selection

Forest School Day decision as to entrants taking part and winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered.

8. Publicity

The first names of winners will be made public.

9. Competition code of conduct

This competition is conducted in line with the Forest School Day, competition code of conduct.

  • We will maintain an open and honest relationship with our community and we will not intentionally mislead them.
  • Whenever our community engages with us they will be treated with respect, honesty and fairness. We will handle all interactive competitions and votes with rigorous care and integrity.

 

Forest School Day Competition Principles are:

  • to competitions and votes are conducted in a way that is honest, open, fair and legal
  • winners of competitions and votes are genuine and never invented, pre-chosen or planted by the forest school day team. Every entry should have a fair chance of winning
  • we will never ask anyone to pose as a competition contestant or winner
  • prizes are described accurately. We will not mislead entrants about the nature of a prize and prize winners will receive their prizes in reasonable time
  • there are clear rules for any competition or vote which are readily available to the public.

10. Changes to competition

Forest School Day reserves the right to: (i) amend these terms and conditions including, but not limited to, opening and closing times; (ii) disqualify any entrant who breaches the rules, including but not limited to being ineligible to enter, or has acted fraudulently in any way and; (iii) cancel the competition, at any stage, if in its opinion it is deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside its control.

11. Technical requirements

Forest School Day, their sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any server, system, network or service provider or otherwise which may result in an entry not being properly logged or not recorded.

12. Acceptance of terms and conditions

Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when registering.

13. Regulations

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

PRIVACY NOTICE
The information you provide will only be used for the purposes of administering this competition. The entry form is stored securely. Forest School Day will not pass your details to any additional third party without your permission and will destroy the information provided when the competition has ended, and the prize has been fulfilled. 14. Withdraw of entry

You can withdraw from the competition at any time. Please contact the forest school day at 123@forestschoolday.org with your details.
